SWTA Alumni Blagica Michova and Gorjan Stojanovski were participants on the training course Make Audience Listen that took place from July 11th until July 18th, 2015 in Kralova Lehota, Low Tatras, Slovakia. This project was part of an Erasmus + Youth Exchange program.
Besides from Macedonia, the project was attended by participants from many other countries, such as: Bulgaria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Turkey, Spain and Romania.For seven days along with the help of an experienced international training team, participants through non-formal activities i.e. discussions, team and individual challenges, outdoor based activities, interactive presentations and problem solving challenges were working on developing various soft skills.
The course was divided in three main blocks of activities:
- The first part was composed of sessions in the field of teamwork, leadership, problem solving, presentation & trainer skills, project management and conflict management.
- The second part was focused on implementation of the abovementioned skills into practice. Participants shared their experiences and applied theoretical skills, methods and techniques into practice by creating model projects.
- The third part consisted of developing new project ideas by the participants.
A great focus on the training was put on increasing participant’s inter-cultural awareness and inter-cultural competencies. Part of the program was also an organized hike on Krivá?, second highest mountain in the High Tatras, considered as Slovakia’s most beautiful peak.
